Crest Secondary School has undergone a remarkable transformation to its school hall into a theatrette, elevating the overall visual. As part of the upgrade, the school has shifted away from the traditional lamp-based tungsten stage lighting system to LED stage lighting fixtures which are well-known for energy efficiency and savings. The brand new LED stage system features ADMC RGBW wall washers, PARs moving heads and Antari haze machine expanding the possibilities for innovative and visually engaging performances.

To streamline control and ensure a user-friendly experience for students, ETC ColorSource Console 20AV has been selected for the setup. This featured-packed compact sized console boasts a 7-inch touchscreen and 20 faders making it exceptionally easy to learn and operate, thereby empowering students to take full advantage of the advanced lighting capabilities at their disposal.

BCA ACADEMY
AUDITORIUM

As the demand for Live Streaming and Broadcasting activities increases, BCA Academy has upgraded their Auditorium lighting system to keep up with the present needs.
Different outputs of Quartzcolor X-series LED Studio Fresnel Spotlights and TGL Lukas LED Soft Panels are installed. They are strategically positioned on new lighting bars installed above the stage floor and Front-of-House. All fixtures are of Variable CCT. As such, user can decide to record in the native warm tungsten setting or the cooler daylight setting. This setting can be easily adjust at the touch of the user-friendly ETC Colorsource console in the control room. Furthermore, an ETC EchoTouch remote controller located at the stage floor allow user to access pre-programmed light setting without having to access the main lighting controller in the control room.
In a recording studio where precise lighting positions and focusing are of utmost important, all studio fixtures installed are fixed with Pole Operated Yokes. This allow user to adjust the fixture angle and focusing easily without the use of any ladder or staging.

NGEE ANN POLYTECHNIC
CONVENTION CENTRE

Located at the centre of Ngee Ann Polytechnic campus, the Convention Centre act as a significant venue of countless memorable events for their students.

Our scope is a full replacement to their existing draperies on stage and all entrances into the hall. Client has specially requested for the colour of the new curtains to match their existing curtains in order to preserve the colour scheme within the hall. As such, a sample part of the existing curtains was cut off and flown to the factory located in UK to kick-start the custom dye process.

There were also other challenges faced in the course of work. There were limited and restricted access to reach the fixed tracks 15m high up above the stage and bringing up a piece of curtain weighing more than 250 kg will need careful and extensive planning before work commencement.

AUDITORIUM

Singapore American School has added much excitement and creativity to their existing Auditorium!

Client has specifically selected the Chroma-Q Inspire LED RGBW fixtures working hand in hand with ETC Unison Paradigm architectural dimming and control system.

A total of 45 nos. of Chroma-Q Inspire RGBW LED fixtures were installed, with the furthest throw distance of 10m from the catwalk. A 24-channel ETC Unison Paradigm dimmer rack, along with 12 nos. of Heritage button stations and 2 nos. of 7” Paradigm touchscreen had also been installed. The more than 20-years old problematic control cabling had been completely ripped off giving way to the new Belden control cabling.

With the flexibility of ETC Paradigm architectural control system, we are able to fulfill client’s request of the lighting program. Varies combination of RGB colours can be easily selected and stored at the touchscreen stations located in the stage manager console and control room. Different colours of LED indicators had been programmed at the heritage button stations to indicate the different lighting colour scenes programmed. User can also control the entire Paradigm architectural system from their ETC GIO lighting console in the control room.

With this upgrade, the new concept of lighting up the Auditorium has finally come true!

SINGAPORE AMERICAN SCHOOL
MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL DRAMA CLASSROOMS

AVLite has successfully upgraded the stage lighting system for Middle and High School drama classrooms at Singapore American School. This upgrade completely shifted from the conventional tungsten halogen lighting system to full LED lighting system complete with RDM functions.

Both drama classrooms were fully installed with ETC’s ColorSource family which includes the ColorSource ThruPower Relay Cabinets, ColorSource 20 AV consoles, 12nos. ColorSource PAR Deep Blue, 7nos. ColorSource Spot Deep Blue with EDLT lens tubes and 3nos. ColorSource Spot Deep Blue with CYC adapters.

MEDIACORP THEATRE

AVLite is very proud to be involved in the Theatrical lighting, dimming and control systems at the New Mediacorp Theatre at 1 Stars Avenue.

Mediacorp Theatre is one of the few venues in Singapore fully equipped with ETC Sensor 3 Thrupower dimming system. It is fully integrated with ETC Unison Paradigm Architectural Control system, GDS Arc System and Bluelight Systems with Customised Touchscreens, ETC Heritage Push Buttons and ETC occupancy sensors all within the Theatre.

Equipped with both Fiber and ACN network, the entire Production lighting system is controlled by ETC Titanium lighting console with Remote Processor Unit as backup.

Along with the installed system, AVLite also supplied more than 400 nos. of lighting fixtures to the new Theatre.

STAMFORD AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL THEATRE

AVLite successfully completed a turnkey solution of the Theatre of Stamford American International School. The theatre is well equipped with state-of-the-arts equipment such as 22 sets of JR Clancy Powerlift flybars & 5200 Scene Control.  L-Acoustics line array sound reinforcement, Digital Projection Projectors, J&C motorised unitrack drapery system. ETC Sensor 3 dimmer racks, a 10M x 6M LED wall & many more! AVLite works very closely with the school & its specialist consultants to deliver the best to the client!

MIDDLE SCHOOL GYMNASIUM SINGAPORE AMERICAN SCHOOL

The second gymnasium in Singapore American School to be revamped, the Middle School Gymnasium. AVLite designed, supplied & installed 3 nos. of EIKI 16,000 Ansi Lumens long throw projectors along with Extron video control system & JBL line array speakers.

Canadian International School (Singapore)

A new campus built by the Jurong Lake, Canadian International School. Lakeside Campus includes a 500 seats Performing & Fine Arts Theatre. AVLite installed 3 sets of manual handwinch flybars, motorised drapery system, dimming & control system and full range of theatre lighting fixtures. The theatre serves an important role in the development of Performing Arts in the school.

SANDS THEATRE & GRAND THEATRE MARINA BAY SANDS

AVLite is very honoured to be involved in both the Sands theatre & Grand Theatre located in the very prestigious Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort. 24 sets of 96-way ETC Sensor+ dimmer racks & ETC EOS lighting consoles were supplied & installed, along with sophiscated networking system via ethernet & fiber infrastructures.

Shaw Foundation Alumni House NUS

An upgrading project in the existing Auditorium at NUS. Shaw foundation was replaced by a more energy-saving fixtures. Moving heads were also installed to cater for more fun-filled events and activities in the university.

HIGH SCHOOL GYMNASIUM SINGAPORE AMERICAN SCHOOL

A full revamp and upgrading project at the Singapore American School High School Gymnasium. Stage lighting system, Sound reinforcement & AV systems were designed & installed to double-up the space for presentation, performance uses as well!
